- Abide by all legislation on environmental protection, the preservation of natural resources and a cleaner and safer working environment for all employees
- Maintain, develop and systematically improve the environmental management system
- Respect the efficiency and economic viability of environmental programmes implemented in the interests of sustainable development
- Reduce the volume of waste and consumption of resources {materials, fuel and energy}, and promote the regeneration and recovery of these resources and the recycling of waste wherever possible
- Minimize the use of dangerous substances and products, and where possible replace them with substances that are free of hazardous ingredients
- Make decision on investment plans and their implementation with due consideration for environmental factors
- Run a comprehensive employee training system to ensure consistent improvements in staff awareness and the knowledge required to tackle environmental issues
- Foster cooperation with local authorities, communities around the airport and other parties affected by airport operations
- Apply ecological criteria in the selection of products and service suppliers and when entering into business relations with airport tenants and users
- Systematically assess the impact that all the company’s operations have on the environment
• Share environmental experience with other members of ACI Europe (Airports Council International) - Prague Airport, as the operator of the international Prague Airport, is not itself a producer of aviation noise. However, it claims responsibility for the handling of noise issues. It will systematically seek out further ways of reducing air traffic noise and demand implementation of such procedures from airport users. It will continue running a noise abatement programme in Prague Airport’s declared noise protection zone.
