Repair of the road surface of Aviatická street continues. The following stages of the reconstruction will require more significant traffic restrictions in the immediate vicinity of the airport terminal buildings.

Stage 3 (31 October – 12 November)

The work will close the left lane leading from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 at the intersection of Aviatické and Schengenská streets (the approach to Terminal 2 will be blocked).

Changes for drivers:

- At the P1 parking area, the left and middle exit will be closed; traffic will be directed through the right exit barrier.

- Driving through the intersection in the direction from Terminal 1 will be possible through one lane only and it will not be possible to turn and pass through the intersection in the direction towards the PB and P3 parking areas, entry point No. 18, and the Terminal 2 BUS stop edge.

Changes for public transport passengers:

- The Terminal 2 public transport stop will be out of service; passengers will be asked to use the Terminal 1 stop instead. Passengers arriving at Terminal 2 are asked to move to the Terminal 1 public transport stop by following the appropriate signage.

- The current Schengenská stop will be moved. Public transport buses departing from the airport will start their route at the alternative Schengenská stop (a currently unused stop in front of the APC building on Schengenská street). The Terminal 1 stop will follow and then the busses will continue towards the city centre via the Aviatická departure ramp to the PD parking building.

Stage 4 (13 – 22 November)

The right lane leading from Terminal 1 will be closed between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at the intersection of Aviatká and Schengenská streets (the approach to Terminal 2 will be blocked).

Changes for drivers:

- At the P1 parking area, the right exit will be closed; traffic will be directed through the left and middle exit barriers.

- The current Schengenská stop will remain moved. Public transport buses departing from the airport will start their route at the alternative Schengenská stop (a currently unused stop in front of the APC building on Schengenská street). The Terminal 1 stop will follow and then the busses will continue towards the city centre via the Aviatická departure ramp to the PD parking building.

Stage 3 and Stage 4 Detour Routes (detail in the image below):

- The detour to the PB and P3 parking areas leads via the elevated overpass, where vehicles are allowed to pass through the left entry barrier and continue through a separate dedicated lane through the P2 parking area. Please note that only vehicles with a weight of up to 3.5 tons and a width of up to 2.1 metres are permitted to enter. Exiting both the PB and the P3 parking areas is only possible via the exit barriers at the PB parking area.

- Coaches normally arriving at the PB parking area will use the parking area in front of Terminal 1.

- The detour to the Terminal 2 supply ramp (entry point No. 18) is directed through the Cargo zone, i.e., the entry point No. 11 and through the supply corridor. Please note that only vehicles with a height of up to 3.1 metres and a maximum length of 12 metres are permitted to enter. Exiting the area is done in a standard way, via the exit point No. 18.

- The public transport BUS detour is led from Aviatická street around the PA parking area and through the dismountable guardrails to its standard route. An alternative Terminal 2 stop will be set up at the PA parking area as an exit only stop.

We apologise for the restrictions imposed during the renovation. We believe that the new road will positively affect the comfort of passengers on their way to and from the airport.
