Safety is a set of measures to prevent incidents that could result in personal injury or material damage. Safety monitors ongoing and planned operations at an airport, analyses why almost always operations run smoothly and safely and tries to support these reasons. It also notices when activities do not turn out as they should, investigates the reasons why and proposes measures to prevent this from happening again. It takes care of the prevention of all events, from small ones without consequences to an aircraft accident. Safety prevents technical errors, force majeure effects, but also human errors, usually inadvertent acts of ignorance or omission of work obligations, missing or imperfectly set operating procedures. Because the airport is a complex environment, even the approach to Safety must be complex, systemic. Passengers, employees, aeronautical equipment and equipment are therefore protected by the so-called Safety Management System (SMS).Safety Management SystemMoreSafety BriefMoreMandatory and Voluntary Safety ReportsMoreCrew portalMoreSafety PromotionMoreSafety ConferenceMore
