Plan Your Airport Journey in Advance.

Kuwait, the capital of the country of the same name, will stun you with its history, vibrancy, and local hospitality. Its most interesting sights include the Great Mosque, which even non-Muslim women can visit with a guide provided they borrow a black abaya robe at the entrance. Not far from the mosque is the oldest local building, the Sheikh’s Palace from 1896. Also go to Kuwait’s largest island, Failaka, where ancient monuments have been preserved and a nice Arab open-air museum has been built. You can also view the art of the Islamic world in the private Rajab Tareq Museum.

A breathtaking view of the city and the Persian Gulf is offered by the three Kuwait Towers, which are a symbol of modern Kuwait at over 180 metres tall. The Al Hamra Tower, the telecommunication tower called Liberation Tower, and one of the largest fountains in the world, the Musical Fountain, are also popular tourist attractions.

Just outside the city, you can see the wreckage of military equipment. After visiting the sights, Al Shaheed Park or the coral island of Kubbar would be an ideal place to relax. Thanks to the crystal-clear water, you will enjoy the best snorkelling and fishing there.
