Plan Your Airport Journey in Advance.

Budapest is a city full of history, spas, Czardas, and goulash. You can start your city tour on one of its main squares – Heroes’ Square, dominated by the Millennium Monument. There is also the magnificent building of the Hungarian State Opera in the historical centre of the city, which is one of the symbols of the country. Another main symbol is the Buda Castle. It is a complex of palaces and a medieval town, where you definitely should not miss the Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church. From Buda Castle, you can see the Hungarian Parliament, the façade of which is decorated with countless coats of arms and 88 statues of important figures in Hungarian history. You will have a beautiful view of the entire city from Gellért Hill. Stop by the military citadel and the Statue of Liberty once there. Other interesting places include the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, the romantic Vajdahunyad Castle, and the Great Synagogue. Also visit the main market, the Central Market Hall. In addition to buying souvenirs, you can taste traditional Hungarian goulash and lángos. Budapest is also nicknamed “the City of Spas”, as the city area includes 125 thermal springs. You can relax in one of the thermal baths after a day of sightseeing. The most popular include Széchenyi Thermal Baths, Gellért Baths, and Rudas Gyógyfürdő.
