This tour (originally Route 8) will guide you through Václav Havel Airport Prague and provide you with the opportunity to explore its apron operations. Subsequently, you will get familiarised with the unique pilot and cabin crew Czech Aviation Training Centre (CATC). What to expect?

  • Apron areas: The first part of the tour will take you by bus across the apron aircraft handling areas. You will watch the taking-off and landing of various airlines aircraft directly by the runway.

  • Czech Aviation Training Centre (CATC): The second part of the tour takes place at the training centre, featuring a detailed 90-minute tour of the facility under the guidance of an experienced aviation professional. Due to the high workload, you will see state-of-the-art simulators of various aircraft types from the outside, notably the Boeing B737 and Airbus A320, which are used for pilot training. Would you like to experience what it feels like to be a pilot of a giant commercial aircraft and test the CATC flight simulators first hand? Go to Fly Like a Pro for more information. You will also have the opportunity to see cabin crew training facilities and in-flight emergency equipment

  • Aircraft emergency evacuation training: You will have a unique opportunity to learn the details of the work of the cabin crew in the event of an in-flight emergency situation, and if interested, you will be able to take part in the aircraft emergency evacuation training (on the slides).

Route 4 is designed for participants from 10 years of age. Attend it to explore the unique world of aircraft including an unforgettable experience.
