Prague Airport has opened the Security FastTrack service for all passengers departing from the Terminal 2. The service offers faster passenger security checks

“With the approach of the summer season we have decided to offer passengers departing from Terminal 2 our new Security FastTrack service, which offers faster security checks. We want to increase the comfort and quality of services offered to travellers. We believe that the FastTrack service will be mostly appreciated by passengers especially during the summer season, which places the highest demands on the airport's operating capacity,” says Jiří Petržilka, the executive director of the non-aviation business department at Prague Airport. Until now, the same service has only been available to passengers in premium travel classes or to members enjoying higher airline loyalty status.

The service may be ordered on-line from the Prague Airport website or directly at the Departure Hall in Terminal 2 using a self-service kiosk. "In addition to the option to purchase Security FastTrack services on-line using an on-line application, there are also four Smart kiosks at Terminal 2 - near the information desk, and also near to the self-check-in kiosks, and close to the security checkpoint area. This will allow passengers to decide for themselves based on the current situation at the airport, literally at the last minute, whether to use the FastTrack services or not,” adds Jiří Petržilka. Smart kiosks are available in five languages: English, German, Italian, French and Czech. 

When booking, the passenger selects the date and the particular time for the security check - during a 30-minute time span. No more than five security checks may be purchased for the time interval of 30 minutes. The price for Security FastTrack for one person is CZK 150.00. The service is also included in the package offering escort services or when ordering parking at the Prague Airport on-line.
