9. 9. 2024The largest Czech international airport received a rating of 4.3 out of five stars and climbed one place compared to having last year’s fifth spot. The top 5 best airports are again led by Istanbul, followed by Porto, Athens, Prague, and Zurich, with the airport in Heraklion coming last in the vote. The results were published by the Holidu portal based on ratings by Google users. “I am glad that despite the baggage loading issue experienced at the beginning of the summer, we managed to remain among the best European airports from the Google search engine users’ point of view,” said Jiří Pos, the Chairman on the Prague Airport Board of Directors, adding: “We have several sources of feedback, and this international comparison is one of them. Passengers highly rate, for example, the range of shops, restaurants, and areas for families with children. On the other hand, comments about waiting times for suitcases after arrival are received more often. We deal with the submissions made available to us in such a way to ensure that passenger satisfaction does not decrease.” This year, for example, Prague Airport built spacious rest zones for passengers, implemented the possibility of baggage self-check-in at both terminals, and expanded the range of restaurants and shops. The fact that passengers have been able to use the comfortable large-capacity trolleybus line No. 59 for their journeys to/from the airport since spring also contributes to customer satisfaction.Information regarding the study can be found using the links below:https://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/travel/article-13816105/The-five-best-worst-airports-Europe-revealed-UK-hub-ranked-bottom.html https://www.holidu.co.uk/magazine/the-european-airport-index Contact for media Deputy Spokesperson of Prague Airport Jiří Hannich K letišti 1019/6 161 00 Praha 6 +420 770 158 193 komunikace@prg.aero
