15. 4. 2024Společnost Letiště Praha vykázala za loňský rok provozní zisk (EBITDA) ve výši 3,1 miliardy korun. Ve srovnání s předchozím rokem se jedná o nárůst 900 milionů korun. Z pohledu čistého výsledku hospodaření vykázala společnost za rok 2023 zisk 1,5 miliardy korun.Last year, Prague Airport reported an operating profit (EBITDA) of 3.1 billion crowns. Compared to the previous year, this is an increase of CZK900 million. In terms of the net economic result, the company recorded a profit of 1.5 billion crowns in 2023.The 2023 economic results were positively influenced by a noticeable increase in passenger numbers, 13.8 million of whom were handled by Prague Airport throughout the course of the year. Despite the fact that their number was 22 percent lower than in the record and pre-coronavirus year 2019, the current economic results can be considered exceptional. The Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors, Jiří Pos, when commenting on the results, noted that last year, thanks to responsible management, the airport implemented investment projects worth approximately 900 million crowns. “We funded the entire amount using our own resources. The largest investments financed the reconstruction of the TWY Z and TWY H taxiways, which cost 139 million crowns, and the construction of the cable duct connecting the north and south areas for 89 million crowns.”During 2023, Václav Havel Airport Prague was connected by direct routes with 167 destinations thanks to the offers from 69 carriers. Prague Airport expects to exceed the 16 million handled passengers mark this year.
