Four new destinations and an increase in the frequency of flights to fifteen currently served destinations. The summer season plans of Ryanair, which has its base at Václav Havel Airport Prague, have been announced. So far, this is the most extensive flight schedule at Prague Airport.

The carrier is offering four new destinations this summer season. Passengers will then be able to go to Gdańsk, Rimini, Seville, and Skiathos aboard its flights. Ryanair will service its additional fifteen destinations more often than last summer. The carrier expects a 21% increase in the number of flights compared to last summer season. The carrier also originally announced its intention to base a fourth aircraft at Václav Havel Airport Prague. Unfortunately, there was a regrettable misunderstanding in the carrier’s communication. However, this does not change the fact that in the summer season Ryanair flights will service 33 destinations and the carrier will offer the greatest number of flights in Prague in its history (21% year-on-year increase).

Jaroslav Filip, Prague Airport Aviation Business Director, welcomes the increased number of destinations: “We are happy that, thanks to Ryanair, we can continue to expand the range of destinations and the number of weekly flights during the summer schedule. Together, we continuously contribute to the resumption of air traffic.”

Alicja Wójcik-Gołębiowska, Ryanair’s Central and Eastern Europe Manager, adds that this is by far the most extensive flight schedule to and from Prague: “We offer 285 flights per week on 33 routes, thus providing a greater choice of summer holiday destinations.”
